Chicken (boneless)- 250 gm

Garlic(chopped)- 6 to 8

Spring onion(chopped)- 1/4 cup

All purpose flour(maida)-2 tbsp

Corn flour -2 tbsp

Rice flour-1/2 tbsp(optional)

Schezwan chutney/sauce-1.5 tbsp

Red chilli sauce-1 tsp

Tomato ketchup-1 tsp

Soy sauce-1.5 tbsp

Green chilli sauce-1 tsp

White vinegar-1 tbsp 

Cooking oil- 250 ml(approx.)

Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder-1/3 tsp

Salt to taste or 1/2 tsp



If you love into Chinese food then today's recipe is just the right one for you we're making a spicy and aromatic chicken in a tangy Schezwan sauce for the shares one chicken I'm gonna start with making a nice homemade phase 1 sauce for this I'm using 3 varieties of chilies Kashmiri chilies Salem kundo and contour I'm just going to put all of these chilies which have been soaking in water for the last 2 hours into the jar of my blender I had a little bit of the water in which the chilies were soaking this will just help grind it time to start cooking the shares one sauce and here I'm going to add a quarter cup of vegetable oil next I'm going to add 15 cloves of garlic that have been sliced up next is about 1 TSP of finely grated ginger just wait for the raw aroma of the ginger and garlic to go away next is a quarter cup of a finely chopped celery a quarter cup of the white part of spring onion that has just been sliced up time to now add the chili paste cook this chili garlic spicy mixture for a couple of minutes on a medium flame after cooking the chili paste for a good couple of minutes I'm adding half a cup of water time to add all the flavorings the first is two tablespoons of light soy sauce one tablespoon of ketchup and about a quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper 1 tablespoon of sugar a little bit of salt not too much because the sauces already have salt in them you'll see that the oil has now started to float and separate that's time to turn off the flame and give this a stir and now add just a teaspoon of plain white vinegar the cheese one sauce is absolutely ready I'm going to set this aside and start cooking the shells one chicken I'm gonna start cooking the shares one chicken for which I've got my wok heating up already and now that it has heated up I'm gonna add about two tablespoons of oil plain oil and almost immediately I'm going to add 200 grams of boneless chickens that has been cut up into thin strips and I made this just with a little bit of salt and pepper I'm not looking to cook the chicken through all the way right now this let it turn slightly golden the chicken has turned a pale golden I'm just going to take it out and put it on this paper towel for the oil to drain it's left all its juices in the pan which is perfect for cooking this Chevron chicken now to the same oil I'm going to add a teaspoon each of garlic and ginger both finely minced swirl them around till the raw aroma goes away about two spring onions the white paths that have been sliced up one green capsicum that's been also sliced up really finely just stir that around stir fry this time to add the chicken back into the pan and stir-fry it for the flavors to come together really well and I'm gonna add the shays one sauce that we had made and about four very generous tablespoons of it because this is gonna add all the flavor to the shares one chicken again just stir-fry this so that the shays one sauce mixes with the chicken and the capsicum very well add about 3/4 of a cup of chicken stock time to add some more sources to this I'm gonna add about a tablespoon of soy sauce another tablespoon of ketchup half a teaspoon of sugar some black pepper now I'm just gonna thicken up the shares wine sauce with the remaining chicken stock I'm just gonna add about 2 tablespoons of corn flour just make it into a very smooth flurry pour this right into the chicken now and immediately stir it in and take the flame up to high the sauce has thickened up really well final step is to add just a little bit of salt not too much so that in turn off the flame and add about half a teaspoon of vinegar and again just mix that through really well ashes one chicken is absolutely ready to serve and of course eat and just before you tuck into it sprinkle on some chopped up spring onion us I see Changi shares want chicken is absolutely ready to eat and it's such a quick and easy recipe I hope you'll try it really soon.
