Kale Chane Ki Kadhi is mainly made in the surrounding areas of Rajasthan and the combination of black gram with kadhi is very tasty and fresh in taste. Kadhi is a very traditional dish of North India that you do not need any special occasion to make, you can easily prepare it for lunch or dinner anytime, so today we can also make black gram kadhi ( Rajasthani Kale Chane Ki Kadhi Recipe).

Black chickpea - half cup (soak in water overnight)
Gram flour - one and a half cup
Yogurt - 2 cups (sour curd)
Asafoetida - 2 pinches
Cumin seed - half a teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - half a teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - Half a teaspoon
Green chilly - 3 -4 (finely chopped)
Red Chilly Powder - Half a teaspoon
Salt - as per taste
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Coriander Leaves - 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
To make chana kadhi, first boil the soaked black gram in water overnight in a pressure cooker and boil it lightly, when the gram boils lightly, take it out of the pressure cooker and turn it on a sieve so that the extra water from the chanas Get out and boiled gram cools down a bit. Now beat the curd well in a big pot and mix gram flour in the whipped curd and mix well. Now add about 3-4 cups of water to the solution and mix the solution in such a way that there should be no kernels in the solution. Now put oil in a pan and keep it for heating. When the oil is hot, add fenugreek seeds, asafetida and cumin seeds to the hot oil and temper it. Now add turmeric powder and chopped green chilies to the oil and fry the spices for 1 minute. Now put boiled gram in this spice and cover with a spoon and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Now open the lid and see if the gram has melted, put the gram flour solution in the cooked gram and cook the curry while stirring it with a strong gas spoon and do not stop stirring the curry until the curry comes to a boil. And when the curry starts boiling then stop stirring it with a spoon. Now add salt and red chili powder to the curry and allow the curry to cook by slowing down the gas. It has to be cooked on a low flame for about 15-20 minutes but keep stirring the kadhi in between, turn off the gas after about 20 minutes. Now take out the Chani Kale Chani Ki Kadhi Recipe in a serving bowl and garnish it with chopped green coriander and serve the hot chana kadhi with roti, paratha and rice.
